Brittany Leimgruber is a 19-year-old sophomore at Imperial Valley College, currently majoring in human relations.  Her future plans include transferring to a university in San Diego or Los Angeles to study photography and graphic design.  “Somewhere not too far from home,” she says.

As a member of IVC’s Fall 2009 Journalism 100 class, Brittany is covering the unique one-man odyssey at Salvation Mountain near Niland.  “It’s the only mountain of its kind in the world,” she says, “and it’s right here in the valley.”
